Usual equipment for Via Ferrata. In case of snow, provide suitable equipment.

ACCESS

From the Nuvolau refuge you descend (left) towards the south-east ridge following the marker 438 until the attack of the Ferrata.

DIFFICULTY DESCRIPTION

Not difficult equipped route which still requires attention, great for training hikers.

ASCENT DESCRIPTION

The Ferrata, first with the descent of a staircase and then to the left for equipped ledge, leads to the base of the rocks of the South East and the yellow and impressive vertical part of the Ra Gusela. Here you cross the path 443 which to the left in 1 hour leads to the Rif. Scoiattoli, while to the right door in the direction of Passo Giau and then take the trail 452 that goes back towards the Rif. Averau.

DESCENT DESCRIPTION

From the Rifugio Averau is possible to descend to the Falzarego pass reaching, by the trail 439, the Rif. Scoiattolils and then continue by chairlift; or walk to the 441 trail, arriving in 1 hour directly to the pass.

NOTE

The well-equipped route takes place on the south-east side and is normally made downhill starting from the Rif. Nuvolau, the latter reached, on the trail 439, along the wide ramp of the northwest Ridge.
