Monte Pelmo
Monte Pelmo is one of the gigantic peaks of over 3,000 m. of the Dolomites.
It rises in the center of a large and free space separating the Valle del Boite from the Val di Zoldo, representing one of the best panoramic points.
Due to its characteristic shape it is always remembered as "El Caregòn del Padre Eternal", the Throne of God and offers to the climbers a normal route that absolutely must not be approached lightly.
The summit was reached for the first time by John Ball on 19 September 1857 through to the exposed rocky ledge that bears his name, which still today presents the easiest way to reach the summit.
