WW1 snowshoeing tour Cima Gallina
The snowshoe hike at sunset towards the Cima Gallina stronghold is a wonderful experience.
We start, snowshoes on our feet, from the Col Gallina refuge accompanied by an Alpine Guide. The route climbs for approximately 300 meters with a length of 2.5 km. Along the climb you can admire galleries and positions for the Italian artillery, as well as the sighting trenches that faced the Austrian army on Lagazuoi. Upon arrival at Cima Gallina, a historical guide will welcome you for the visit and stop at the stronghold, where anecdotes about the First Great War and a comforting snack will enrich your experience.
