Historically the world capital of climbing.

The area of Cortina d’Ampezzo has a very long tradition in climbing. Our history goes back to the second half of the 800, when the first climbers from Great Britain and the Central European area elected the Dolomites, and in particular Cortina, as a favourite destination for the conquest of its majestic peaks. Peaks such as the Cristallo, Tofana di Rozes, Sorapiss, were climbed for the first time by Paul Grohmann and the Alpine guides accompanying him; Santo Siorpaes and Francesco Lacedelli.

Over the years, curiosity, the challenge towards oneself and ambition, have pushed skilled climbers to continue the conquest of the surrounding peaks, trying to explore and locate along the rocky walls, the most logical and obvious ways to reach the top.

It has not always been easy, of course, the intuition and the desire to go “beyond”, have brought us some fascinating and authentic itineraries.

Our guides are happy to let you enjoy the same feeling of conquest, accompanying you in safety along the classic itineraries and the great common streets of the area.
